»Be-cycle« Time and Area Action:

Der erste Sprung des »Be-cycle«-Projektes währt einen Monat, von Mitte Juli bis Mitte August 2009. Angefangen hat das Projekt mit dem Bau unseres ersten Fahrrad-Transporters »Be-cycle« sound system in Berlin.

Präsentieren wollen wir Live Konzerte, Sound Systems, Projektionen und Performances in und um Berlin, an so unterschiedlichen Orten wie Parks, Gärten, Strassen, verlassenen Fabrikhäusern und Metrostationen, sowie allen anderen Räumen, die wir diesen Sommer entdeckt haben und vorbereiten können.

Unsere ersten Veranstaltungen fanden am 17. Juli im Görlitzer Park, Kreuzberg und am 18. Juli im Mauerpark, Kreuzberg statt.

The first leap of the »Be-cycle« project is a one month period, from mid-July until the middle of August 2009. The project began with the construction of our first »Be-cycle« sound system bicycle-transport in Berlin.

We want to present live concerts, sound systems, projections and performances in and around Berlin, in places as different as parks, gardens, streets, abandoned factories, metro stations and all the other areas that we discovered and are able to prepare for this summer.

Our first events took place on July 17^th in Görlitzer Park, Kreuzberg, and on July 18^th in the Mauerpark, Kreuzberg.

Das Ziel von »Be-cycle« ist es, verschiedene Menschen zusammenzubringen, die das Interesse an der Schaffung von Szenarien mit künstlerischem Kern eint, wobei auditive und visuelle Performance verwoben und geteilt werden.

Diese Initiative will eine überraschende Umwelt kreieren, mit einer Melange aus Künstlern, die ihre eklektischen Talente verbinden, um ein neugieriges Publikum zu überraschen.

»Be-cycle« steht für die Kreation und Organisation von Musik und künstlerischen Ereignissen, wobei Musikkultur und visuelle Konzepte im Vordergrund stehen.

The aim of »Be-cycle« is to bring together different people with an interest in creating scenarios with an artistic marrow, where auditory and visual performances will be mixed and shared.

Willkommen in der »Be-cycle«-Welt!

Die Welt des »Be-cycle« ist ein öffentlicher Raum für alle, die nach Performance ohne Grenzen suchen.

»Be-cycle« will Publikum und Künstler zusammen bringen, miteinander vereint statt voneinander getrennt, in einem Kreis.

Ihr seid alle eingeladen, euch diesem Kreis anzuschließen und eure Erfahrung und euren Geschmack für Musik hinzuzufügen! Auf diese Wiese werdet ihr helfen, eine neue Verbindung aufzubauen: den »Cycle«.

Wir sind eine Gruppe von Leuten, die Interesse daran haben, Musik zu machen, Videos und Animationsfilme zu erschaffen, und zwar dank und mit unserem Design-Objekt - dem Fahrrad. Design, Set-Konstruktion, Musik, Fotografie, Animation, Filme machen, Mechanik und Kochen – wir sind grenzenlos. Frei nach diesem Motto gibt es keine Einschränkung von Ideen, sondern jede Menge Raum zum Ausprobieren neuer Möglichkeiten, den »Cycle« zu vergrößern.

Wir wollen auch neue Impulse für eine engere Zusammenarbeit zwischen all den verschiedenen KünstlerInnen - MusikerInnen, TänzerInnen, MalerInnen, sowie jenen mit unorthodoxeren Berufsbildern - setzen, die nach einem Weg suchen, ihren Ideen, Gedanken und Überzeugungen Ausdruck zu verleihen.

The world of »Be-cycle« is an area open to all those who are looking for a possibility for performance without borders.

»Be-cycle« wants to bring together the public and artists, unified instead of being separated, integrated within one cycle.

Everybody is invited to join the cycle! Add your experience and your taste for music, thereby helping to build a new connection: the cycle.

We are a group of people interested in making music, creating videos and animated movies, thanks to and with our own designed object - the bicycle. Design, set construction, music, photography, animation, filmmaking, mechanical aspects, cooking - we are borderless. There’s no limit to the ideas for any possibility to make the cycle bigger.

We also want to create incentives for a closer collaboration between all the different artists - musicians, dancers, painters as well as those with more unorthodox professions - who look for a way to express their ideas, thoughts and convictions.
